Project Media Matrix History

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

This is an approximately chronological summary of the significant events in Project Media Matrix and my involvement with it. It includes some major events in My Bad Fortune that seem to have been responses to my work on Project Media Matrix.

Work On Project Media Matrix Release 0 Began.

In the mid 1990s, I was becoming disgusted with big media's lies. And I was learning that alternative media were trying to report the truth, but were being prevented in various ways. Because of this, people were literally getting away with mass murder.

I began to think that a solution to this problem might be a new type of news network based on personal computers. This eventually became the Truth Distribution Network (TDN), and a big part of Project Media Matrix Release 0.

Decision To Work On Project Media Matrix Secretly.

I eventually concluded that the Project Media Matrix Plan could actually be achieved, but it would require the involvement of many other people.

Instead of announcing Project Media Matrix and asking for help, I decided to do it anonymously. I did this for the following reasons.

Crimson Tablet.

Crimson Tablet is the name that I used as the anonymous author of Project Media Matrix Release 0 until going public in 2000 July.

Crimson Tablet is another way to say "red pill", which is what Neo swallowed to learn the truth in the film the The Matrix.

Project Media Matrix Release 0.

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

The first publication of Project Media Matrix happened on July 4 1999.

It consisted of ten floppy disks mailed during a bicycle ride into Boston Massachusetts. Each disk contained one file named "mediamtx.txt". Each disk was wrapped in a sheet of paper and enclosed in a business sized envelope. On each envelope was a different delivery address copied from the masthead of a magazine selected at random from magazine racks, a fake return address, and two first-class postage stamps.

I hoped that Project Media Matrix Release 0 would spread by people that received it giving copies to their friends. For several weeks I saw no indications of it's spread in the media, So I mailed another ten floppy disks to another ten addresses.

Reaction To Project Media Matrix Release 0.

Eventually I saw some reaction. Project Media Matrix was not mentioned by name, but other things were happening.

Work On Project Media Matrix Release 1 Began.

I was happy to see the Reaction To Project Media Matrix Release 0. But it did not last. People seemed distracted by the new phase of the Waco Cover Up.

So I decided that there needed to be a Project Media Matrix Release 1. It was to include the following new information:

The Bad Guys Found Crimson Tablet.

I worked for several months, collecting evidence and writing Project Media Matrix Release 1. As before, I worked in Secret. But in early July 2000, things happened that caused me to conclude that I had been discovered. This was a major event in the Project Media Matrix History.

Crimson Tablet Feared For His Life.

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

After My Second Apartment Break-in I concluded that the only people that had a Motive for entering my apartment, concealing it, and not stealing anything, were the agents of the Bad Guys. I believed that they were willing and able to kill me to stop Project Media Matrix because of the wrong doing that it threatened to expose, and

So I concluded that I had two options.

It was an unpleasant choice, but it was a simple one.

Crimson Tablet Escaped.

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

My Second Apartment Break-in happened on a Thursday, only five days after My First Apartment Break-in. I guessed that during My First Apartment Break-in my computer hard disks were copied. Five days would have been sufficient time to analyze them and conclude that I was Crimson Tablet.

Based on how my acquaintances had died, I suspected that during My Second Apartment Break-in a biological or chemical assassination weapon was placed in my apartment. So I avoided items in my apartment that might contain the weapon. I ate and drank nothing except for tap water from a clean container. I did not brush my teeth, or lick stamps or envelopes. I did not use deodorant Friday morning.

But I did not want the Bad Guys to think that I was planning to escape. If they did then they might take other action. So I tried to act normally. Because I did not know how closely I was being watched, I went through the motions of preparing and eating breakfast Friday, except that I did not actually eat anything.

I went ahead with previously made plans to view a movie with some friends Friday evening. I took with me a floppy disk containing all of the Project Media Matrix files. At the movie I told my friends that my car was having engine trouble, and asked them whether they could drive me home. One them said yes.

Instead of directing her to my apartment, I directed her to the home of some other friends that lived in town. When we arrived there, I explained my situation. I asked whether they would allow me to use one of their computers to send Project Media Matrix Release 1 to a bunch of people by E-mail, and they agreed.

Crimson Tablet Went Public

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

I went public by sending a hastily written E-mail message to a large number of people from one of my friends' computers. The Project Media Matrix Release 1 files were in an attached zip archive file. Here is the text of that e-mail message.

Hello all.

The file you have received, pmm.zip, is a zipped file of working documents
of PROJECT MEDIA MATRIX. It was a secret project to solve the problem of
the news media. The first report was published in July 1999 and may
responsible for the Waco revelations in late August.

I was working on an updated report, also to be published anonymously, but I
recently concluded that I am being surveiled, and that my life is in danger.
I do not want this project to die, and I do not want to die either. I
would not be the first. Details are in the documents.

I know this sounds strange, but I will explain everything.

When you start to read the file in pmm.zip, start with 01readme.txt . It
points you to the next file, UPDATE01.TXT, which is a very rough draft of
the second report on which I was working. Some sections are complete, but
some are not. The original report is MEDIAMTX.TXT. It is much more
readable.

I hope to explain all of this better in the near future.

Project Media Matrix Release 1.

[If You Do Not Trust Me Then Read This For Entertainment Purposes Only]

Project Media Matrix was republished hastilly on July 21 2000, after The Bad Guys Found Crimson Tablet, and he, I, went public by sending E-mail to several electronic mailing lists. The Project Media Matrix files were in an attached zip file.

Project Media Matrix Release 1 was messy and difficult to read because

In spite of it's problems, associating myself with Project Media Matrix Release 1 protected me and the future of Project Media Matrix.

Reaction To Project Media Matrix Release 1.

The apparent Reaction To Project Media Matrix Release 1 in the year 2000 was fast compared to the Reaction To Project Media Matrix Release 0 in 1999.

Within a few days, the Media Establishment exploded with sensational news stories, in what seemed to be Control By Herding to prevent anybody thinking about Project Media Matrix Release 1 or the Waco Incident about which it reported.

Meanwhile John Danforth quietly disappeared.
